Project Description

Created for the opening of Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport, this film connects a cutting-edge aviation centre with the region’s long history of skilled falconry.

Complex and fantastical sequences were created using mass choreographies of illuminated drones. In a groundbreaking feat of cinematography, we coordinated and filmed the landing of a full-scale 3D model of an A380 plane, formed by 1,750 swarm drones, on the northern runway of the newly renamed Zayed International Airport.
